Android 2.3 是继 Google 推出的 Android 2.2 之后的下一个 Android 版本。它具有以前版本的所有功能，并且在此版本中还添加了一些新的主要功能。此版本中引入了一些关键的用户功能和开发人员功能。此版本添加了社交网络和视频通话功能等主要功能。除了这个复制/粘贴，电源管理和键盘也得到了改进。它的版本名称是Gingerbread 。 Android 2.3 中的 API 级别为 9。它于 2010 年 12 月 6 日发布。
