Android 4.0.1 是继 Google 推出的 Android 4.0 之后的下一个 Android 版本。它具有以前版本的所有功能，并且在此版本中还添加了一些主要的用户功能。此版本中引入了一些关键用户功能，例如面部识别(面部解锁)、UI 使用硬件加速、更好的语音识别、Web 浏览器最多允许 16 个标签、更新的启动器和通过 NFC 交换数据的 android 光束应用程序。它的版本名称是Ice Cream Sandwich 。 Android 4.0.1 中的 API 级别为 14。它于 2011 年 10 月 21 日发布。
