download from https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Grepper.grepper
then install it manually.

Open the “Extensions” sidebar (you can use “Ctrl+Shift+X”).
Click on the ellipsis icon in the top right corner of the menu.
Select “Install from VSIX…”
