The Reno-Tahoe Airport was originally called the Hubbard Field and was used as a training site for Army Air Forces during World War II. After the war, it became a commercial airport and was renamed to Reno Municipal Airport. In 1954, it was renamed as the Reno-Tahoe Airport. Over the years, the airport has undergone many improvements, including the recent addition of a new terminal, parking garage, and runway expansion.
The airport has a total of three runways, with the longest measuring at 11,002 feet. There are two terminals that serve the airport, with a total of 26 gates. The main terminal has a variety of shops, restaurants, and services including free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and conference rooms. The airport also offers rental car services, shuttle services, taxi services, and bus services for passengers.
