超级计算机:
超级计算机是世界上体积最大、成本最高的计算机。 Seymour Cray 发明了超级计算机。超级计算机用于大型和复杂的数学计算。超级计算机的速度超过大型计算机,因此它们可以在一秒钟内执行数十亿条指令或浮点指令。
大型计算机:
与超级计算机相比,大型计算机成本更低、体积更小、速度更慢。用作大型数据库的存储并同时用作最大数量的用户。第一台成功的大型计算机是由 IBM 发明的。大型机的速度比超级计算机要慢。在这种情况下,数百万条指令同时执行。
