光通信:
由于数据速率非常高,光通信被广泛用于网络主干。在光通信中,光纤用于通信目的。从发送方到接收方的信号通过光线传输。信号不受光通信中电或电磁干扰的影响。它不需要放大器,因为光纤中的传输损耗很低。
