Sadguru Swami Sachchidananda Nath Paramhansa Dev ji, popularly known as Mouni Baba ( born Shree Rameshchandra Chakrabarty ) was born in Krishna Dwadasi tithi of Jaishtha in 1301 (according to bangla calendar), aka 16th June 1894 (according to English year) at Srihatta, Bangladesh. His father's name was Shree Ramchandra Chakrabarty and his mother's name was Shrimati Sarvamangala Devi. He taught the highest stage of religion by showing a perfect blend in Tantra, Gyan, Yoga and Prema Bhakti and preached "Manavata" (humanity) as the yuga dharma. He is an incarnation of Lord Shiva in the form of Sadguru. He belongs to the Nath yogi sampraday [1] of Baba Gorakhnath as well as the Gaudiya Vaishnav sampraday of Gouranga Mahaprabhu. He lived his life as a Kaulasidhdha [2] Avadhuta Sanyasi.
