CAD和CAM的区别

1. 计算机辅助设计(CAD)：
计算机辅助设计 (CAD) 是使用计算机来设计物理产品的模型，这意味着计算机用于帮助创建设计、修改设计和分析设计活动。计算机辅助设计也称为计算机辅助绘图。 CAD 的目的是制作 2D 技术图纸和 3D 模型。因此，在 Simple 中，我们可以说 CAD 向计算机表示您的零件几何形状。计算机辅助设计 (CAD) 软件主要由工程师使用。

CAD 软件的示例包括 AutoCAD、Autodesk Inventor、CATIA、Solid Works 等。

计算机辅助制造(CAM)是在模块制造过程中使用计算机软件来控制机床。 CAM 将工程设计转化为最终产品。 CAM 不同于传统制造，因为它在制造过程中实现了自动化。计算机辅助制造也称为计算机辅助建模或加工。 CAM 的目的是使用 3D 模型来设计加工过程。所以在 Simple 中我们可以说 CAM 将几何图形转换为机床。因此，没有计算机辅助设计 (CAD)，计算机辅助制造 (CAM) 就没有任何意义。计算机辅助制造 (CAM) 软件主要由受过训练的机械师使用。

CAM 软件的示例包括 Work NC、Siemens NX、Power MILL、SolidCAM 等。
