计算机辅助制造(CAM)是在模块制造过程中使用计算机软件来控制机床。 CAM 将工程设计转化为最终产品。 CAM 不同于传统制造,因为它在制造过程中实现了自动化。计算机辅助制造也称为计算机辅助建模或加工。 CAM 的目的是使用 3D 模型来设计加工过程。所以在 Simple 中我们可以说 CAM 将几何图形转换为机床。因此,没有计算机辅助设计 (CAD),计算机辅助制造 (CAM) 就没有任何意义。计算机辅助制造 (CAM) 软件主要由受过训练的机械师使用。
